TOM AUCTIONS GOLD JACKET FOR HIS DAD'S CHARITY
Last week, Tom announced to the keanemusic.com massive that he's auctioning the Christian Dior gold jacket he wore on this year's UK arena tour. The proceeds will go to Rwanda Aid, the charity which Tom's dad has run for the last few years. Click here to read a heartfelt sales pitch from Tom and to see a picture of the jacket. The auction closes tomorrow evening and bidding is already up to a whopping £6,000. If that's a bit beyond your price range, but you've got a few quid to spare, you can always click the link in Tom's message to give Rwanda Aid a small (but very much appreciated) donation.

As you may well know, Keane are currently in the US, a few dates into their North America tour. They've been keeping us well up to date with their progress, thanks to Richard's typically ace photoblog, plus a new addition to the km.com arsenal BethCam - in which Keane's PA films the band doing interesting things. ISLAND 50 TICKETS
At the end of last week, a small number of extra tickets went on sale for Keane's special Island Records 50th birthday gig at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 30th.
